An alert service is invoked by a monitor to dispatch a specific type of alert, for example, a Slack message, a Twilio SMS, a Telegram message, an email, or a request to a webhook URL.
Each alert service is effectively a specific account (using a specific set of credentials or a specific access token) on a specific platform.

Note: The actual platform account credentials or access tokens are stored in transports, which means multiple alert services can dispatch alerts to the same destination. This is done for the sake of convenience and flexibility.

There is no limit to the number of alert services that you can create in your user account.
Deleting an alert service will delete the alert service and any alert logs that were attached to the alert service.
No, alert services cannot be moved or copied between partitions.
When you create a partition, we create a default "built-in" email alert service in the partition. That alert service cannot be deleted.
