What is a media object?

A media object is any type of file that you would want to attach to an alert that is sent via an email transport.

The media object can be any MIME type, but it cannot exceed 200 MB.

How do I create a media object?

To create a media object, use the steps below:

1. Use Configure, Media Objects, Create Media Object in the menu.
2. Fill out the form.
3. Click the Save button.

How do I change or delete a media object?

Media object cannot be changed.

To delete a media object, use the steps below:

1. Use Configure, Media Objects in the menu.
2. Click the black menu bar icon of the media object.
3. Choose the desired action from the drop down menu.

How many media objects can I create in my user account?

There is no limit to the number of media objects that you can create in your user account.

What happens when I delete a media object?

Deleting a media object will delete only that media object.

Can I move or copy a media object to another partition?

No, media objects cannot be moved or copied between partitions.
